About The Orchard

Rose Hill Orchard is a 10-acre mixed fruit orchard in Lake Country, BC. We grow cherries, apples, peaches, plums, grapes, walnuts, haskaps and strawberries. We sell our fruit through our popular u-pick program, as well as in our on-farm market, through our value added products, our fresh pressed juice, and our outdoor cafe. We open our gate to the public from June to November and welcome guests from all over the world providing a look into farming and growing fruit. In the summer month it's a great, colorful, fun and exciting community space with lots of events, workshops and social interaction in the beautiful Okanagan.

Our production process is guided by regenerative principles, for example by free ranging our animals through the orchard for mowing and fertilization (we currently have sheep, mini horses, chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl), mulching our prunings and composting our various waset streams to build the soil, cover cropping, and exreme diversity in our crop mix (we have 6 varieties of cherries, 15 varieties of apples, 3 varieties of plums, 5 varieties of peaches).
